Sunflower Chop Suey House

I tried calling the restaurant for an hour but the line was constantly busy, so I decided to go in person. There was a notice on the door saying they were only taking telephone orders. However, when I tried calling, there was no answer. I can only assume that the phone was not working or someone had left it off the hook.

I decided to try a different Chinese restaurant than my usual spot, but I regretted it. I ordered crispy chili beef, egg fried rice, and chips. Unfortunately, the beef was greasy and not crispy, the rice was cold and tasted like it had been reheated, and the chips tasted more like doughnut batter than actual chips - they were too sweet. The portion size was small for the price, and I felt unwell after eating it. The staff seemed unhappy, but they did give me a bag of chewy, non-crispy prawn crackers. I was not impressed with the food or service and would recommend looking for better Chinese options elsewhere in town.

The food at this restaurant is truly fantastic, but unfortunately they do not accept card payments. However, the staff are incredibly friendly and you will not be disappointed if you choose to dine here.

I chose the special fried rice and a portion of salt and pepper ribs. The meal arrived within 15 minutes of placing the order, which was brilliant considering how busy they were, being a Saturday night. Food was lovely with great portion size. Will definitely be ordering for home delivery again. Excellent!

Julie is amazing great customer service sticks up for her staff, food good quality and good price! Even if you have strange request or not sure what you want she will most certainly try to help you the best she can. Even living out in the sticks good always comes piping hot
