The Blue Lion Inn - Denbighshire

Myself and my partner came to the blue lion for a nice lunce, have had many previous great experiences but today not one of them. We were given a table for an hour, waitress seem not to check up on customers nore around to ask for the desert menu. Food quality not that great. Will be looking for a new restaurant in the future.

After reading the reviews, I decided to have lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the leek and potato soup of the day and the gammon. Both dishes were very delicious, and I would highly recommend this pub to anyone.

First visit will certainly not the last. Well worth the short trip from Rhos on Sea. Blue Lion was warm cozy at start of business Sunday 1st October. Pleasantly greeted by staff, comfortably seated after a generous garlic bread, our plated lunch arrived, one lamb, one roast ham with all the veg was superb. This is such a well run establishment it was, understandably, so so busy. Thank you all, we will return asap.

Popped in from Rhuddlan for lunch today We had vegetarian curry with sweet potato fries and Steak and Ale pie with chips and veg.. Food was lovely, well presented and nice and hot .. We both work in local hospital and getting away for a quiet lunch is just what we needed on our day off . Well done Blue Lion we will come back again soon.

Cosy old pub with a big fire food was really good and service was fab. Great views on the terrace too.
