If you are looking for a weekend breakfast / brunch place, that is! The hash is homemade and it's so good! None of this muddy stuff you see most places. Eggs are actually cooked exactly as you wish. The bananas promote pancakes were from this world! The tea selection is really nice. The service is warm and welcoming. It's like someone has the really nice mom for breakfast and takes care of you. Not fussy or cloying, easy and tasty.
Celebrated Chandeleur Day (Feb. 2) by ordering a cup of cream of spinach soup, followed by a savory crepe with chicken, spinach, a pesto sauce (especially of the day). Delicious! Had a nice bottle of hard apple wine to go with it! A hearty and delicious food. All this accompanied by excellent service and a great conversation with Cindy, the owner. A time to retrieve.
I love this place! The band of my son Side B plays there often. Great, relaxing atmosphere and the food is excellent! Enjoy it there really!
