If you want a piece of homemade pie or homemade cheese cake, it is DELICIOUS. Also, Delia is a hamlet and we enjoyed walking around there after our meal. There isn't a ton to see but it fun if you want to explore for awhile.
Located between Drumheller and Hanna on Highway 9, the hamlet of Delia is a pretty place, with wide streets and a couple of interesting things to see. The real gem, though, is the Mother Mountain Tea House
What a treat to have this wonderful little spot in a small place like Delia! Such a real treat! The food is absolutely delicious. Fresh and Home made with loving care for sure! And the most charming spot with excellent service and a charming host to chat with!
This building and the furnishings take you back decades. The host was friendly and gave us helpful information for our drive toward Drumheller. Our lunch was tasty fresh food. Desserts looked delicious. It was tough to pick just one. The price was on the high end but the this was a unique dining experience. I am glad we heard about it.
What a gem! Our family of 3 had a wonderful Friday night feast en route from Saskatoon to Drumheller. We enjoyed "fall off the bone" baby back ribs while our 8 year old polished off 2 bowls of cream of broccoli soup! Hosts Yvon and Heidi made us feel very welcome in their cozy, one of a kind establishment. Only 35 min from Drumheller. A memorable stop!
