Temiscouata Brochetterie 1212 - Degelis

We arrived at 8:00 on a long weekend, feeling tired and hungry. The staff seemed unfriendly and unwelcoming. The lighting in the room was terrible, forcing us to unpack our bags in the well-lit washroom. The lack of adequate lighting made it impossible to read or write. The room lacked a cozy atmosphere and needed more furniture to fill the large, empty space. The five employees present in the morning did not greet us or say goodbye, making it an unwelcoming place to dine.

Stay at the hotel and decided not to drive anymore. Sure. We ordered a salad a beer and two chicken dinners. Wow, what a meal of roasted chicken. We had enough chickens left to have two sandwiches for our next day trip.... Pleasant helpful staff in the hotel and restaurant

We ordered a pizza and a Caesar salad with chicken. The salad was one of the best Caesar salads I have ever had. The pizza had a fantastic crust and a nice punch of flavor. The service was outstanding. This restaurant is a lovely place to stop on your way!

Very pleasant and helpful staff! Great value, good food. After a long drive from the highway, we look forward to the reception we have.

Eating alone can sometimes feel boring, but the staff at Temiscouata Brochetterie 1212 make dining a pleasant experience. They recommend specials and help with wine choices. I loved the brochettes, seafood platter, and the ribs were amazing. And the servers always appreciate my high school French skills. I can't wait to visit Le 1212 again during my twice-yearly trips through Quebec.
