Contribuiți la feedbackAwesome place, great ambience and great Service. The food was to die for!!! We drove all the way from Miami for our anniversary dinner here...
What a disappointment. My wife and I both had the shrimp scampi . The shrimp was over cooked, dry and tasteless. The broccoli rabhe was tough little twigs, basically uneatible, and instead of parmigian polenta as advertised it came with angel hair pasta. All for $35.00....WOW. If we weren't with a party of seven celebrating my wife's Birthday, I would have returned the dinner
We had to wait 20 minutes past our reservation time because the host mentioned that people were not leaving. The kitchen was busy with several large groups and other tables, so our food took a bit longer to come out. Our server kept us updated and made sure our drinks were filled. We had a table on the terrace with a direct view of the beach. The food was delicious! We had mezze platters, steak and eggs, and chicken dishes, all of which were excellent. Unfortunately, an afternoon storm hit Florida and we had to make a quick retreat to Orlando. Overall, we enjoyed our experience at this restaurant and if it weren't for the holiday crowds, I would have given it a 5-star rating.
The restaurant is located in a great location near the deerfield pier with a magnificent view of the water. we expect a great experience due to the views, but eating was not good. the scallops rissotto was oversalted and the garnelen tasted old. we made the best of it and had a few round drinks that was the best part of the meal. the gloomy sounded amazing on paper, but as soon as we got it, it wasn't so much. chocolate was hard and not damp as a cake should be.
We've been driving for 10 years to oceans 234. we always bring guests from the city here and always promote the lobster mac and cheese. I was terribly disappointed that the recipe has changed into a basic Alfredo sauce when it was a four cheese with mascarpone, cheddar and two others. it came with white sauce and was so disappointed. the fish specialties were so delicious earlier, but they are not inspired. the mais is a crab encrusted snapper with the lobster maismic no longer. the sushi bar is no longer. the choice of a fish sandwich is no option. the menu for dinner is very minimal. we loved to come there, but it seems like it was just a lunch that is a shame. in 2013 we had our Rehersal dinner and high-time brunch, which is how much we loved oceans 213.
