The food is good, but there is only a very limited menu for lunch. I had a clam chowder and a chicken salad sandwich with coleslaw. The soup was hot and the sandwich tasted good. Only the coleslaw was a bit heavy on the mayo and was too oily. The server was very friendly and attentive. I recommend sitting outside, as it is very crowded and tiny inside.
Very cool nostalgic diner. Prices high. The cole slaw I had was inedible. It’s like the sugar was left out. Excellent pie.
I had the chance of coming here 1 good time, after all the times I've visited, it was closed. Food is pretty yummy, considering this is a Museum. I had the Tuna Salad sandwhich, a cinnamon donut, and a frappe. I love the straw they provided for the frappe, gave it an authentic feel for the time. Staff are nice and sweet people, I'd stop in again!
Love love love this place the servers are very nice ,helpful…they are busy and I never see anyone sitting around who works there they are always moving around, made sure we was ok
It's a working historic diner, but its value is from being a restored historical place within the Henry Ford Museum rather than a dining destination in and of itself. It's intended for a quick bite to eat and refreshment while touring the museum.
