Firehouse Subs - Dayton

The staff was wonderful and the food was enjoyable, but then I noticed my bread looked like this. I'm not really sure what caused that, but I do know that bread shouldn't look like this!

I arrived at 12 PM, and the staff informed me that I might have to wait about 20 minutes because a customer had just come in and ordered 20 sandwiches. Honestly, that's not acceptable; they should have called ahead. The restaurant should inform large groups that they might need to wait up to 90 minutes, as they need to prioritize serving the lunch crowd. Having worked in sandwich and pizza places before, I know this is standard practice. You can’t pause service for a large order; it's important to set some boundaries and ensure everyone is treated fairly.

Placed order over phone and arrived after 10 minutes expectig to wait a few minutes but after 40 minutes of waiting checked on my order and it was still 4 behind. Waited for 50 minutes for 2 sandwiches.

Always a good experience. the employees are nice and friendly and the food was fresh and hot.
