The chana masala is delightful, and the rice is fragrant and flavorful. The outdoor seating is lovely, and the staff is friendly.

The food is delicious, with a wide range of vegan options available. The staff is very well-informed about vegan cuisine.

I used to exclusively go to Kathmandu, but they lied to me about their korma being vegan. I kept telling them it probably had milk, and they insisted it was cashew-based. Unfortunately, it wasn't, and I had diarrhea for two days afterwards. If you're looking for vegan Indian food without the deception, come to Yeti. However, their menu doesn't always label dishes as vegan, so you may have to ask. For example, their naan isn't labeled as vegan, but you can request it without butter. The naan is decent but has a slightly odd taste. The daal soup in the appetizers is wonderful, and the momo are exactly what you'd expect. They come with a tomato sauce that complements them well. The rice is good, but the restaurant itself is somewhat dirty. The drink menu on each table is dusty and looks like it hasn't been cleaned in over a year. Additionally, the sauce cups are old and scratched. The chairs are uncomfortable, especially the ones against the wall, as they are too short and can cause you to fall off. The service was good during my visit.

This locally owned Nepalese restaurant changed their menu several years ago so that almost everything on the vegetarian menu can be made vegan by request. They also reprinted their menus and marked the items that are vegan. Their cooking is delicious and there are some dishes that are particularly Nepali flavored, such as chana pindi, the momos, and mis-mas vegetable. You need to ask about the chutneys and breads. Their staff understands what vegan means and they are very helpful. If you are looking for catering, they do a terrific buffet.
