L'Oliva die Trattoria - Darmstadt

Went to L'Oliva in Darmstadt for the first time today. A wonderfully beautiful atmosphere, very imaginatively decorated with wine utensils. A very pleasant and extremely caring service, even the boss came to the table several times. The amusement oil with olives, Parma ham, still warm bread, olive oil and coarse salt already enticed the taste buds. The starters, beef carpaccio with scrambled eggs and truffles, were a completely new experience and the trilogy of tuna, salmon and monkfish served with mango, avocado and orange fillets was a taste explosion. No other exquisite ingredients are revealed. You have to experience it for yourself The main course is US roast beef tagliata and saddle of veal with mashed potatoes and vegetables (superb and al dente pumpkin! yellow beets, broccoli, Romanesco,... . Finally, an exquisite mascarpone yoghurt cream and a lemon sorbet. Both garnished with a very tasty fresh! Fruit salad. Final espresso at the Italian restaurant is a must. Accompaniment during the evening with a delicious, aromatic Primitivo from Puglia. Can only recommend the restaurant with its great service and really delicious cuisine. Thanks to the team

We stayed on Friday, 30.11.2012 with 9 guys in LOliva and finally finished the restaurant. Beautiful ambience and attentive staff ensured that we were very good. The restaurant was very well visited, but did not prevent a good service. All dishes, whether appetizers, main dishes or the suggestions of the boss were great. The grappa to the house and after midnight a small attention from the kitchen rounded off the evening. Sensationell, rarely we landed such a hit in Darmstadt, absolutely recommended.
