The Old Farmhouse - Darlington

Had a really lovely afternoon/early evening here. Staff are extremely professional and diligent. The food is excellent, hot and tasty. Second time here the Sunday lunch was served without any stuffing. We explained to Richard (Mead) and without any fuss and straight away Richard appeared with a small plate of stuffing. The Sunday Lunch and Steak was excellent Welldone the Chef!! Excellent service, responsive and we were felt “that people within this establishment cared”!! Welldone Richard and the rest of the Staff that looked after us. We will be back again…. With the Dog!!

The charm of this sympathetically restored old building is enhanced by that of its staff. Without exception polite and helpful. I’d particularly like to mention Emily who treated us like one of the family.

The pub is beautiful and set out lovely. Staff are so welcoming and always happy to help. Food is AMAZING and everyone comes out so full. It is pricey but definitely worth it.
