Montana Café - Darby

We always enjoy our breakfast there. Large pancakes, delicious bacon and their combos are great. Much time to chat while your order is custom cooked. And the amazing waiter NIE has to write your order. What a MEMORY.

Wife and I stopped in after a long day if hiking in the rain. Could tell it was family owned and operated. Some of the best service I've ever had. Great food!! Try the carrot cake, its awesome.

The Montana Cafe has the best food in the Bitterroot!!! It is family owned and operated. Tonight we had the special ...... delicious tender pork loin roast, mashed potatoes and carrots, oven roasted zucchini, toasted sourdough bread, and salad. You always need a to go box because the portions are very generous! You will NEVER leave hungry! Our favorite place to eat!

We came upon this place after finding a stray dog outside of Darby and inquired if they may have known who owned the dog. The people in the restaurant are way friendly and make amazing breakfasts and also amazing pastrami sandwiches. I though I was in a NYC deli. It was by far better than any sandwich I ever got In Missoula , Montana! It is a family owned place and in this day and age I do not think you can find a friendlier place anywhere. they also brewed my fresh decaf coffee . all this at an amazingly reasonable price, also put water outside for Toby the Dog! Yes, we did find the owner. If you are ever in Darby, this is the go to spot! Not fancy, but good
