Great experience. This was my go-to place to eat during a week stay in the area. Great variety of local beers. I enjoyed the philly cheesesteak most times I was there. The cheesecake was great too. The staff was always quick, friendly, in a great mood. Nicol is an awesome server as well as the rest of the staff. The establishment has two sides, the cafe and the saloon. The cafe side is nice when the weather is good, well-lit with a breeze coming through and a huge fireplace as a centerpiece in the room. Great for dinner. The saloon is an awesome place to have some drinks with a darker atmosphere. Wild West type of porch. Street parking in front. Awesome deals depending on the days you’re in town.Parking: A few spots out front more around the area
Great atmosphere and the waitress were friendly. We ordered and food was delivered promptly and tasted greatWaitress was around to fill drinks as needed but did not hover. Was a relaxing and pleasant atmosphere. Great place to go when it is snowing...eat by the fire and watch the snow fall.
They have very delicious food we had the BLT with fries and fish sandwiches with tots and they were both very yummy ? so if you are ever in the area stop by and try their food at the big cat you won't be disappointed because they are very friendly and the atmosphere is great the fireplace was going and they have games if you want to play if you decide you are bored so stop by and try it for yourselfWheelchair accessibility: The is wheelchair ramp and parking ?️
I was really hoping to get a good Montana cheeseburger. Instead, little California. The burger was super overcooked, dry and the meat was compacted like some nasty preformed freezer patty. It was supposed to have jalapeno cream cheese on it. In addition to the burger having absolutely no flavor or seasoning, the supposed jalapeno cream cheese tasted more like runny bland mayonnaise. The fries were good but clearly not freshly made. More like something from Sysco that you would get at any fast food restaurant. Located in this quaint historic town, I expected much better food. They have patio heaters every few feet even though you're inside and they were so hot, it was literally burning my arm so I had to ask to be moved. Clearly, this is a place for tourists who aren't accustomed to our wonderful weather and good food that is typical of a locally owned restaurant which this clearly is not. $22 bad cheeseburger.
