Food was on the table in about 5 minutes. Hash browns were totally overcooked and burnt. Omelette with ham and cheese and the ham was outside of the omelette instead of the normal inside. The best thing was the bacon and even that wasn't right. It was if I received someone else's meal that was sitting under a warmer. The price was unexpectedly large. You used to be able to get a good, cheap meal for almost nothing. It was $40 for two people who barely ordered anything.
What an horrible experience! I don't blame the employees, even when they will probably pay the consequences. The problem here is management. Management is responsible for the training of the employees and maintenance of the facilities. Let's go over the sequence of events: -arrived to a restaurant with 2 customers. After waiting several minutes, the server stops a phone conversation, gives us the menus, tells us to sit anywhere, and returns to phone conversation. -had to go for silverware since we didn't have anything to stir the coffee. -asked fro scrambled eggs and received fried eggs (rectified within 5 minutes) -there were to go syrup containers (one full) on the floor from the moment we arrived to our departure and no one picked it up even when it was the servers station and had to walk by it several times. -the bathroom was filthy and the sink faucets had water coming out everywhere, but from where it was supposed to. -they used bundles of napkins (waste) to keep the tables even. Needless to say, I don't recommend it and perhaps for those reasons were empty.
Let?s start by saying, this place smells. I?m not sure if it is the carpet or what but it just stinks. We were seated by one of two ladies working. The cook was very visibly working with no mask or hairnet. After being seated, we were asked about drinks. We got our drinks within two minutes then the lady disappeared. There was another lady working who kept saying ?whatever? to a few different guests. I am Not sure if they are regulars but for us who were visiting is was very displeasing. After waiting about 20 minutes without acknowledgement, we asked the ?whatever? lady to get our lady. We ordered and the doing was out in less than 10 minutes but very unappetizing. These two generous stars I?m giving is for our waitress who seemed to have a lot going on.
Service was excellent and I would give my server 5 stars. She was somewhat alone and did the best she could. Food was fine. The three star rating is because they didn't have two different items. Lack of inventory and manning is a management issue. Overall experience was fine.
