Dickey's Barbecue Pit - Dania Beach

Ate Lunch with coworkers last week Friday. Ordered the Triple meat plater. Chicken, pork, brisket. Presentation was not to par, All my meat was mixed together, Dry Bread, and meat. As a side I gotten French fries, which were great nice and crispy. Only downside is the lady new there was not enough fries and chose to serve me a half serving. My coworker gotten the same side and his was filled. Employee attitudes were unenthusiastic, no help, should smile more. Good luck.

My daughter and I made online orders from here after a long day at the hospital with my husband. I was disappointed to say the least, especially because I have been coming here since opening day. I've even made large catering orders for holiday parties. It is apparent that the quality of this place has gone down over time but on September 15, 2023, it was the worst it has ever been. I was yelled at by a woman who claimed she didn't speak English and was treated poorly. Then the food.. I was given dry broken pieces of chicken. It was supposed to be sliced but it was like chips. It was so hard! and the brisket was more like chipped beef and I requested sliced. That too was hard, but at least the flavor was good. I was terribly upset because it definitely wasn't worth what I paid. It shouldn't even be given away. Then to see the woman licking her fingers while PREPARING the food was also gross. Please avoid this location.

I couldn't force myself to finish the food. There was an off flavor that reminded my brain of spoiled meat. I'm not saying it was spoiled because I can't prove that. I am saying it smelled strange. Both the brisket and the ribs had the scent. I won't be going back.

The brisket chili is so salty its inedible and i love saltThe brisket is so incredibly dry and brittle itsLike a cross between canned meat and cheap jerky. My 3 Meat Plate came with 2 pieces and i could only eat one. Also it came with only less than half full little container of bbq sauce for all 3 meatsMy drink was LOADED with iceDont buy the onions. You know like the pickled ones they have at every bbq pit under the sun!! You will get a tiny container of scallion like onions.The sausage was mushy ... yes, mushy... like overcooked carrots or yams. It was gross.Mac and cheese was aight. Toast was good.

Great place to order from. Food is amazing. Atmosphere inside is okay. It's small but in good location.
