Dream Cafe - Dallas/Ft Worth AP

My husband and I are visiting the area and decided to try this café because of its vegetarian options. We've enjoyed both lunch and breakfast here. For lunch, we ordered the tofu stir-fry, which featured crispy vegetables, a delicious sauce, and perfectly smoky tofu. We also indulged in the hummus appetizer with pita bread, and it was fantastic. For breakfast, we had an omelet, oatmeal, and a bagel with cream cheese. Everything was delicious, and the strawberry butter was a delightful surprise.

The atmosphere is laid-back, and the patio is lovely. While the food isn’t particularly unique, it’s reliably good. There’s nothing extraordinary about this place, but it provides a comfortable setting that encourages enjoyable conversations.

Routh St Club: I'm not entirely sure what the name of this sandwich signifies, but it was definitely a delicious choice. It includes smoked turkey, Swiss cheese, tomato, bacon, avocado, lettuce, and Russian dressing. The flavor was fantastic! The bacon was cooked perfectly—not soggy or overly crispy. My only issue was that both pieces of avocado were piled on one side, and I didn't realize it until I had eaten the other half. I just assumed they were generous with the avocado!

This place is great. In the overly packed area, this is a gem. The salmon was awesome. Our waiter was very knowledgeable and helped us make great selection.

Decided to go for brunch after reading all the great reviews. It was interesting. We got there about 12:30pm on a Sunday and were seated right away. The food was good although I wish I had ordered one of their specialties instead of the eggs (my mistake). My husband had the spinach and eggs Benedict and was very happy with his food. My son ordered the chicken and waffles and declared it the best he's ever had. He was also happy with the tropical smoothie. We also ordered the popovers I was disappointed that they were cold. I am used to eating warm/hot popovers. I was glad I ordered a latte as the drink tasted much, much better than their house coffee. Will definitely visit again and try the granola French toast.
