The Original Pancake House - Dallas

I visited on a Friday around 9 AM and was seated immediately. My husband ordered the 2x2x2, substituting the two slices of bacon for sausage patties and adding pecans to the pancakes. I tried the country Benedict, which had fantastic flavors, but I was let down by the homemade biscuits—they were tough and tasted burnt on the bottom. The orange juice is genuinely freshly squeezed, with a nice bit of pulp (which I enjoy!), and it strikes the perfect balance between tart and sweet.

Been coming to this place for over seven years. Still great to see some of the original staff, especially after covid. The food is always consistent and delicious. Their French press is amazing. Love the beans they use. Fresh squeezed orange juice is the best. It’s my favorite place for a breakfast date with my sister. If you join their club, you get $10 off on your birthday month.

Great service! I had the buttermilk pancakes with two eggs and turkey sausage. My husband had the plain crepe with a HUGE cheese omelette that he couldn’t finish . Great food, good prices.

Always a great choice for breakfast with family or friends. Expect long lines and wait times but you can get on the wait list by calling. Everything we have tried is great. It can be a bit pricey but worth it. Don't miss stopping here if you are traveling or looking for a great breakfast place.

Every time we visit this restaurant, it’s always a fantastic experience! However, this time was truly exceptional. We typically enjoy great service here, but our server this time was outstanding! Brian was not only humorous and attentive, but he also juggled multiple roles effortlessly. We will definitely be returning to request our new favorite server!
