The octopus and Caesar salad were both amazing. However, the meatballs were disappointing - we only took one bite and left the plate as they had no taste and were not worth it. The sea bass fish was very yummy, but the portion on the plate was quite small.

The food and service at this restaurant were amazing! I enjoyed everything, but the bruschetta could have had more basil and a thicker baguette. My experience overall was great.

I have never had a bad meal at this restaurant! It is truly amazing and authentic. The mimosas are great and the service is excellent. The pizzas, bruschetta, pasta, and salads are all fantastic with fresh ingredients and prepared perfectly.

Now onto the service: our server was attentive, professional, and knowledgeable. He checked on us frequently and gave us time when we were indecisive. His recommendation of the Lagardia wine was excellent (36 for the bottle). We started with the mussels (18) and the sauce was even better than Truluck's. It was perfect for dipping. Mussels can be tricky, but these were wonderful. I ordered the sea bass (34) and my sister ordered the taverna burger (19). She loved her burger! I couldn't finish it (see photo). I did manage to steal a few fries though, and they were delicious. My sea bass was perfectly cooked and the sauce was just as good as the mussels. The shrimp were flavorful and tasty. Just be careful with the lemon garnish on top, it might catch you off guard (like it did me lol). Our server, Alexis, didn't have to twist our arms too much to order dessert, and we shared a chocolate mousse that was divine! Overall, the experience was wonderful and I would highly recommend this place. We didn't have to wait long for a table, but it did get quite busy before we left (around 7 o'clock on a Friday).
