Sushi Axiom - Dallas

Before my visit, I read numerous reviews about this restaurant, which made me a bit apprehensive about the trip. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the excellent service, atmosphere, and food. The only downside was the lack of a parking area for those of us who prefer not to use valet service. Despite this, the walk was definitely worth it. I'm planning to return for my birthday and hope everything will be just as wonderful as it was during my last visit.

The food was excellent, and I highly recommend the bombshell dish. It's a bit on the pricey side, but that's understandable given the location. I would definitely eat here again if I find myself in this part of town.

Our favorite sushi chef, Tony, has opened his own restaurant. It's the best sushi in the Dallas area!

It was my sister's birthday, and this was her chosen restaurant. When we arrived, the hosts gave us bewildered looks, as if we were out of place. We ended up seating ourselves because the two hostesses seemed lost and unsure of what to do. After waiting for 15 minutes, I had to flag someone down to ask about a waiter. He went back to the host area, and we received the same confused looks again—I can only imagine why. Finally, our waiter arrived, and while the food was excellent, the service was lacking. I would only recommend this place for takeout.

My server was friendly and competent, which was a plus. However, when I finished my meal, I went to the restroom and asked my server to bring the check. Upon my return, I found that my table had been completely cleared, including my personal belongings. Seriously? Additionally, the music was too loud, and I noticed many staff members standing around the bar, seeming oblivious to the needs of the guests. I don't see any reason to return.
