Sankofa Kitchen - Dallas

Great! Wish there were more restaurants like yours.

Sankofa is a very cordial customer oriented restaurant. Upon entering you will immediately notice the friendliness of the staff. They greet you with a smile and make you feel at home. You will notice that your food is cooked to order (not already cooked and left under a heat lamp awaiting order). Then you'll be pleased with the tasty finished product. Today I'm trying the vegan burger. It's great as usual.

This is my second time from Sankofa. The first time I had the vegan spaghetti dinner (to forget to make pictures). It was delicious. It came with spaghetti in “meat” sauce with a salad and a whole wheat garlic bread. Today I tried the vegan fish-po-boy sandwich with hand cut pommes. Tested like a fish sandwich. The frits were cut potatoes (unprefabricated frozen frits). What I like about this place is that it is not only delicious, it is healthy (Wohlweizenbrot/Pasta, mixed greens for salad). Some vegan places go so far to make a delicious meal that the dish is no longer healthy.

Great Sunday brunch buffet. Plenty of vegan southern comfort foods. (Greens, Chicken Waffles etc.

Love the atmosphere and customer service is always excellent.
