Funk Da Fried Fish Chicken - Dallas

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and it turned out to be a fortunate mistake. The customer service was excellent, and the food was incredible—offering both delicious Cajun dishes and milder options for those who prefer non-spicy fare. The boudin balls were outstanding, and the catfish, fried pickles, and fried mac and cheese were equally amazing. I was thoroughly impressed and will definitely be back. The only downside is that you can’t dine in, but it's definitely worth it for a quick takeout meal.

The food is amazing, and everything I've tried has been fantastic. However, there's one issue: they have pictures of dishes like gumbo and boudin balls on the wall that look so appealing, but they don't actually serve them anymore. I think they should either bring those dishes back or remove the pictures from the walls.

I've lived in this area for almost two years, and this restaurant is fantastic! I would say it’s the best dining spot around. Everything I've tasted has been delicious, the portion sizes are generous, and the prices are incredibly affordable. You absolutely have to try the waffle with brown sugar butter—it's a must!

Customer service was great Lots of friendly people that work here , really down to earth , had great conversations with the staff. Food came out on timely manner Enjoyed hot food. Usually don’t go to small restaurants, but had to try it since I ended up in the area. Keep it up great job guys.

Everyone has their own experiences, and it really comes down to personal taste. I thought the food was quite good. Just don’t come here expecting the same kind of seasoning you’d find at a chain like Applebee's. That’s where a lot of the complaints stem from; some people just aren’t used to well-seasoned food. If you’re from the area, you’ll likely understand what I mean. Food: 5/5.
