Doc B's Restaurant Bar Dallas

Service impeccable! Food..phenomenal! My gf and I had reservations for after seeing Oleta Adams at the Dallas Symphony. Although the restaurant closed at the kitchen was still fully operational and the staff was on point. The hostess greeted us with a smile and promptly sat us a booth as requested. The place is dimly lit and very cozy. We started with a glass of Mionetto Prosecco, Walnut Block Sauvignon Blanc and the Guacamole with Sweet Potato chips. The Guacamole was fresh and the chips were fried perfectly. For entrees, I had the Chicken Paillard and my gf had the Fall Off The Bone Danish Barbecue Ribs; we shared a side of Crisp Jalapeño Potatoes. Both dishes were outstanding! And when they say fall off the bone ribs, they mean it! While we were pretty full after diner, we couldn’t leave without grabbing a dessert to go. We opted for the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cheesecake. It was light fluffy and not at all overly sweet. Doc B’s is a new favorite on our list and we’ll definitely be back!

Very good food, portions can be a little small, but the service was impeccable.

Wings were amazing! Drinks were tasty and strong. We had our bottle of wine brought to our table already open which was odd but whatever. The pound meatball was tasty, good but not great. I had the chicken parm that was bland and the sauce was bitter, I wish they had used the meatball sauce. My friend had the Pork Chop. It was cooked well but incredibly buttery. My husband had the chimichurri steak with jalapeño potatoes and a salad. Everything on his plate was PERFECT. Her husband had the ribs and enjoyed them as well. We tried all the desserts and they were all good. Our server was very friendly but slightly slow. I can’t say anything was bad, I can’t say anything was amazing. We probably won’t be back, just because Dallas has so many absolutely amazing restaurants that a good enough restaurant doesn’t warrant a return visit. Cost was about for covering apps, drinks, dinners and dessert. Good value.
