Carbone Vino - Dallas

Made an online reservation, arrived on time and was seated right away… but facing a brick wall and with the smallest table! We asked for another spot to seat and we were told that they were fully booked and couldn’t move us. Ok fine. Got drinks right away, but could barely hear the waitress as it was so loud and music was oddly loud as well. Ordered everything right away and got app and salad delivered at the same time even though we asked for it in courses but fine, they were delicious. After the salad and apps were cleared, there was a 25-30 minute period where nothing came. Super strange. The ribeye and vodka pasta arrived and it was not their best as the vodka pasta is my favorite there. Both dishes were luke warm but we were so hungry that we didn’t want to wait any longer. I’ve been both Carbone and Carbone Vino and would not go back to Vino.

This was our first time at this restaurant. The convenient valet . The welcome greeting when arriving . Great music playing . We were seated right away . Food was great . Wine was great . Dessert was great ! waitress got busy during our meal and did not finish up with the best service . But overall great place and we will be back !

Loud.. food seems average for the cost. Felt so rushed we were out in under 30 mins.. odd experience. Probably won’t return nor recommend. You can get better Italian and better service elsewhere for the cost.
