Benny's Bagels Lakewood - Dallas

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and ordered the chicken salad on an onion bagel—so delicious! I run a business just around the corner and can't believe I never tried this place before. That sandwich was absolutely fantastic, and everything tasted incredibly fresh!

The bagels aren't made the way I request them. I would rather buy a half dozen and make them myself at home. They always forget to include something!

This restaurant operates on a counter order and take-out basis, and I recommend calling ahead. The bagels are top-notch; I tried the lox with onions, capers, and a schmear, and it was fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned. My girlfriend had the veggie riser with egg, bell peppers, onions, tomatoes, and cheddar, and she loved it. The place is quite busy, but the staff is friendly, quick, and always smiling, offering great food at a really decent price! It's one of those fantastic neighborhood spots that you just have to try!

First off, customer service has always been great every time I go in. Responsive. Friendly. Helpful. Secondly, the southern pecan coffee is something we all need. Get it! I’m an everything bagel guy so I’ll get that solo or with some schmear or as an Early riser for breakfast. Check it out and enjoy!

Friendly service, great bagels. I always get mine with a spinach schmear, which is delicious! Love that it is local.
