Bombay Lounge - Dalkeith

Most amazing meal tonight. The flavours that bounce round your mouth is something you need to experience. Lovely staff and Michael made sure he spoke to everyone and made you feel welcome.

The coconut reshmi and peshwari naan were the best I've had. From the moment we walked inside we were welcomed, smiled at, chatted to. There was a throng of people to come take another drinks order. We were served promptly checked upon enthusiastically throughout the whole meal by more than one person. It was very busy and a great atmosphere. The owner was sitting talking amongst guests who were clearly regulars, he recognised them, engaged with them. Tables were cleared and cleaned quickly for the next guests. And the house red was beautiful. We had a really great evening. Thank you.

Absolutely amazing! Michael and the staff could not be more welcoming. The food was so tasty and would recommend the hqggis pakora for sure! Michael made us feel more at home and even gifted one of the cobra glasses after sayinf how nice it was! Would 1000% recommend and defo rate this as the best indian restaurant im Dalkeith! Great night, food and staff!

I’ve ate in most of the Indian restaurants in Edinburgh and the lothians and i can honestly say the Bombay lounge is by far the best one I’ve tried. The food and service is excellent and cobra on draft is first class. The owner Michael and his staff are so friendly and go out of their way to make your stay so special.

Amazing food and friendly service. Only problem is that I have to drive over 3 hours to go again. Would definitely make an effort to go again when travelling up north. Especially for the haggis pakoras.
