Bennetts End Fish - Dacorum

The worse fish and chips I’ve ever had the fish was so over cooked. It was dry and awful. Will definitely not be returning. £25 was not cheap for something that was so inedible.

I have ordered the regular size cod and chips from this restaurant multiple times this year. The portions are generous, with white and flaky fish and fresh, crispy batter. The chips are outstanding and everything is cooked perfectly. We always call ahead to ensure our order is fresh and made to order. It's great to see that they don't pre-cook any fish, so it's always fresh. I have tried many fish and chip shops over the years, but none compare to this one. I highly recommend it.

We've had fish and chips from the submarine over several months each time we've had perfectly cooked food with huge portions. Good value and very efficient and polite staff. Highly recommended.

The portion size of the chips was also generous compared to other local shops. The service was excellent, with friendly and polite staff. Additionally, the prices were very reasonable.
