Lawlers Barbecue - Cullman

My wife and I both ordered a pulled pork platter, which came with 2 sides. I ordered barbecue beans and slaw, she ordered macaroni and cheese and slaw. The pulled pork was just mediocre, I could hardly taste that it was smoked at all, it was OK, but like I said, just mediocre. The BBQ beans were not bad, they had a little different taste than most barbecue places and they had just a little bit of barbecue meat in them, a little bit. The slaw was real vinegary, almost too much for me and I love vinegar slaw. The wife's Mac and cheese was surprisingly good. The service was quick and friendly, the place is brand new so it was very clean it was in OK for just to stop along the way home from Florida.

Chicken so tender and juicy. Mac n cheese delicious. Workers polite and service was fast. Worker said goodbye and have a blessed day as we left. Would eat there again.

Lunch. My wife and father shared some ribs that had fed three people. I have the chicken sandwich. We enjoyed everything we ordered. The Cole Slav was made with a vinegar base that is different than I used to and I enjoyed it, the Mac and cheese was good and the baked beans were good.

We drove through Nashville to Birmingham. My chicken stuffed potato was okay. My husband got the smoked chicken plate and his chicken was about the size of a silver dollar. My farewell is to always stop at the one from exit 351 (Athens) in the future, as they won?t do, the stuff much better!

Excellent! On the way to Florida from Michigan and stayed here for lunch. Very good stuffing potatoes! Great service! Friendly staff.
