Jack's - Cullman

Terrible experience. Came through the drive thru with my 2 year old at 12:40. We get to the window and am not greeted with a happy ? Hi how or you? just a sour face, almost like they?re ready to just get me out of the way. A taller dark haired man(assuming he?s a manager) brings my food over and slings it out the window for me to grab. Once I have my food in hand there?sno ?have a nice day? or any kind of friendly conversation. I proceed to say thank you have a nice day, but before the words caneven leave my mouth, the window is slammed shut in my face. I?ve been coming to this Jacks now for many years and have neverever had this kind of treatment.

I've been to several Jack's locations, but this one is one I won't return to until they improve the staff. The service is slow, and all I see when I walk in are employees standing around chatting while their families come in with kids. This isn't a social visit; it's a place of work, and they need to act like it. When they struggle to keep their staff, they end up closing for the day—like on October 22 when all the doors were shut, including the drive-thru. There are better Jack's locations nearby, so don't waste your time here.

Food is usually good, have had a few bad but for the most part it's good as far as fast food burgers go.

The new building is great, but that's about it. The service was really disappointing. I ordered two hamburgers, and it took 30 minutes to receive them, all while two employees were busy texting on their phones. I won't be rushing back to this Jack's anytime soon.

I would honestly recommend avoiding this restaurant because they couldn't get a single order right. I ordered a grilled chicken salad with extra everything—cheese, bacon, chicken, you name it—for $19, which I was fine paying. However, when I got home, I found just a basic salad with no extra toppings at all. If I were you, I would choose a different place that won't take your money or leave you short on food.
