We chose to eat inside and were able to bring our (calm and small) dogs into the bar area (it was a quiet lunchtime) where we were splendidly looked after and brought fabulously good, home cooked food. In particular, the local hazelnuts (avellanas) were perfect in the warm goats cheese salad and the almond and carob tree (algarrobo) desert was the perfect way to enjoy these local ingredients.
What a gem! Lovely food, simple and delicious, made with truly local produce. It is cherry season now (July), and there was a special menu with various dishes made with local cherries, fresh from the tree. Very friendly service, and the owner was honest enough to warn us so that we don’t over-order. Everything was very tasty, and we loved the home-made cheesecake!
Comida casera a buen precio.
