Tuggie Joes - Cuba

We knew we were going to be driving through the area so we asked a local where to go for breakfast and he said Tuggie and Joe's. They did not disappoint. Homestyle cooking that actually tasted like homestyle! Every dish we ordered was delicious, great service, good prices. Worth the stop if you're in the area.

Hard to believe this place only has one review! I rarely have time to eat breakfast anymore but if and when I do everyone loves stopping in at Tuggie and joe's. When they closed down the location in st James we were all bummed but so glad it's open in Cuba!

My husband and I go here every chance we get. Great food and great prices. Love their tenderloin sandwiches. My husband loves their breakfast items. Our grandson who is 5 loves to go and gets mad every time we tell him we have gone without him. They have great cooks and great staff. They all are very friendly. They make you feel at home.

The food and service always great when we eat at Tuggie and Joe's. The fried chicken is usually my choice and even though there is sometimes a little wait it is fresh and cooked just right. Good dining experience.

I live in Cuba and tried it once when it first opened and found the food plain. I have to admit though that what I ordered was a very plain fare (Eggs, bacon, toast). Gave it a shot for lunch a few weeks ago and now I am obsessed with the patty melt! Best Patty Melt I have ever tried and I have tried a lot of places. I think the American Swiss is the trick, besides just plain good cooking. The fries are wonderful too. Just your standard crinkle cut fries but a lot of places seem to be able to mess that up. Glad I finally tried it out and Tuggie Joe's has now become one of my favorite restaurants. I will be heading there regularly.
