Contribuiți la feedbackIf you like creative bao, this is definitely the place to go! It has fantastic bao with many combinations and a great selection of beers. The owner is super nice (and speaks English!) and the pricing is 300 pesos for 2 beers and 2 baos. Expensive for Mexico, but super cheap by US standards! Definitely recommend!!
The beer was good, but the baos were fantastic. I liked how simple the menu was, beer and baos only. Our group had about 4 different baos and all were great. The best one was the Brooklin 7 bao.
After dinner at Yuban, my group of four from the US went out in search of some craft beers from the local scene. Turns out the place we were looking for was literally next door. We bought a handful of beers and chatted with Augustine, the owner, about the local scene. Some of the beers were amazing and others were just okay - which is how it is with craft beers; they try some different things the big brewers don't, and sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. But it's always worth trying! The beer and conversation was so good we didn't even get to the buns, but the place smelled wonderful.Fuku Bao is a great place in a wonderful neighborhood with good people. If you're curious about local Mexican craft (and possibly even homebrew) beer stop by and grab a few.
