Country Donuts - Cross Plains

Absolutely loved this placed. Stopped here on our way back to Austin. Great chocolate glazed, old fashion and Apple fritter. Also enjoyed the pig in a blanket.

The Cheese Hawg (kolacche) was delicious with lots of good fresh bread around it.

I got the twisty glaze donut that had a light dusting of what seemed like cinnamon on it, a very nice touch, I loved it. I also had the chocolate frosted old fashion, equally delicious. What I noticed about these 2 types of donuts I got was they were not super sweet yet they were extremely delicious and enjoyable to eat. I highly recommend this place even though I don't live in Cross Plains but stopped on our way to Abilene from Brown County.
