Staff was friendly and atmosphere was okay. But the whole purpose of going to a restaurant is the food and my experience wasn't great. I ordered the steak fingers and they were soggy. I've never had a moisturized steak finger before so it was weird. The burgers on other customers plates looked pretty good though. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner

We ate lunch here last Saturday on the way to visiting the Robert E. Howard Museum. The Chicken Fried Steak (real steak, not a hamburger patty) was excellent, the drinks cold, and the service friendly. A totally enjoyable experience. Parking: We were there on Saturday. Plenty of parking spaces were available. I can't say how parking would be on a weekday. Service: Dine in

Nice little place is a win! Stop here and you won’t be disappointed. We gave this place a shot when passing through cross plains. The outside sign was hard to see since we didn’t know where it was. It’s on the corner btw when google maps is giving you directions. A unique pleasant backwoods country vibe is inside. We got home cook meals that hit the spot. The service was also extremely excellent. I got a small chicken fried steak with homemade real mash potatoes. The white gravy was made from a package, it was still good. The fried okra was made crispy tasty. The ranch dressing was homemade so plus on that. Bacon cheese burger was excellent with homemade potato steak size fries. The presentation of food on plates also appreciated.
