Sunset Cafe Taverna - crete

STAY AWAY!! Romantic place, but VERY, VERY poor service and horrible prices! During my one day on a sun bed we experienced: Refusal of credit card unless purchase of minimum 15 EUR Really unpleasant staff, no smiles or other friendliness A girl fight between a waiter and a female customer, ending with a huge quarrel and bleeding lips Ordering shrimp meal (seemingly a main course) for 12 EUR, receiving only 6 or 7 shrimps REALLY A SAD PLACE TOGETHER WITH THOSE RUNNING IT!

Used to be great with reasonable prices and satisfying porsions. Now they underestimate the costomers with the tiny porsions and high prises. Also the kitchen closes for 3 hour at some point at noon which is extremely annoying. They don't care anymore and neither do I. Food: 2 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

Discovered by chance ... and it was a real surprise ... so much so that we went back two days in a row. Umbrella and sunbeds at affordable prices and food by the sea ... we saw a crazy sunset. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Very nice, quiet ambience on the beach. Very tasty food at a fair price. The homemade green iced tea is highly recommended. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
