Excellent service both in the bar the restaurant! Food is without a doubt the best in the area if not further! Pleasant helpful staff that will go out of they're way no matter how busy they are! Highly recommend!

Brought my elderly disabled mother to this place on a weekday evening and its was empty . We asked a member of staff for one of the many seats along the wall only for her to say there all fully booked while she was looking at the bookings booklet . However i seen the booklet myself and it was almost totally blank . Once food was ordered it came minus the roasties by another member of staff and when we mentioned it the staff member whom had told lies about the seats being fully booked and then piped up from across the other end of the restaurant and interrupted the conversation by raising her voice to say that there is no roasties on the menu , I noticed a menu on the table next to me and checked again and of course it was there in black and white on the menu .. After the meal she came down to our table and when i pointed it out on the menu she argued to say the menu was wrong . When we got up to leave not one of the tables that she claimed that was fully booked was occupied . Such an argumentative member of staff that totally spoiled our meal .. Needles to say we will never be back . And now the owner has responded to this review and as everyone can see the fact that an apology was not forthcoming speaks volumes.

Staff great, food not to the standard expected. Son got steak , half of it was fat, we had stroganoff of a sort, absolutely terrible.
