Bamboo - Craigavon

Here's a helpful tip: Bamboo opens at 4 PM. I recommend going in person to place your order right after they open. The wait time is minimal, and they focus on promptly completing your order. Once you have it, you can warm it in the oven at home until you're ready to eat. It's popular for a reason—it's delicious!

We ordered takeout for my wife's birthday this evening and, despite it being a busy Saturday, our food was ready on time. Unfortunately, calling the food "poor" would be a major understatement—it was absolutely terrible and genuinely inedible. We ordered a total of four meals: three Chinese and one European. Each dish had an unpleasant aftertaste, as if the cooking oil hadn’t been changed in ages. In fact, the food went untouched and was only suitable for the trash bin. I attempted to call the restaurant but couldn't get through. Although the reception area at Bamboo is very clean, the food safety rating leaves much to be desired—it's rated only 3 out of 5. On a positive note, the staff at the front were friendly during both the ordering and pickup processes.

I was informed that the delivery would take 30-45 minutes, but after waiting an hour and a half, they called to ask if I still wanted my order. Of course, I wanted it! The food finally arrived two hours later, and I was expected to pay the full amount with no apology or explanation. This company clearly doesn't care about its customers or service. I used to be a regular, but after tonight, I'm done.

Nice enough food here but they got part of my order wrong even thou they were asked to confirm the order twice on the phone. Disappointing.

Telephoned at 6pm to collect at 6.30pm and was assured it would be ready. Wasn't ready. Customer walk ins ordered and received food before me. At 6.45pm I asked where food was, received it at 6.50pm. This is not the first time this has happened, we've had to wait up to 45mins for an order we telephoned in. Couldn't eat my food I was so annoyed and told them I'd never go back. Avoid this place, they prove themselves to be totally unreliable again and again.
