Saltgrass Steak House - Covington

On the plus side, our waitress was great. I didn't realize it until we left, but she was also working the bar. So kudos to her. But the food was mediocre. Steaks were overdone both my medium rare and my wife's medium and the flavor had much to be desired. The bread is dry and flavorless but just good enough to eat more than one piece cause it's complimentary. You know the struggle! This was the second time we've eaten there. And I can assure you, we won't be going back.

Worst service EVER!!! 7/3/22 The waitress we had, had 4 tables (couldn't handle that many). Took over 10 minutes before she came over to take the drink order, and then another 10 minutes before we got our drinks Order an appetizer, that took forever also (but it was good and plentiful). Ordered our food and needed refills on our drinks, didn't see the waitress for quite sometime. The waiter working the next section actually came over and asked if we needed

Great food, and you have to try the mango tea! It is delicious! The chips and queso with brisket were amazing!

The ribeye and ribs were delicious along with the sides. Ribeye- tender, juicy and well-seasoned. The ribs were just about falling off the bone and had an unctuous barbecue sauce. The only thing that left me a bit flat was the chocolate doberge cake that was intended to have the consistency of a cake ball, which I thought was OK, but I would much rather a different chocolate dessert. The server was really great and it has a nice atmosphere. Looked like a slow night for
