Contribuiți la feedbackThis was our second visit . Ate lunch at Del Porto Saturday November 11th 2017 before hitting the Three Rivers Art Festival. We arrived around 12:30 p.m. and thankfully beat the crowd (there was a line of people waiting to be seated when we left at 1:30 p.m. and were immediately seated. Classy atmosphere. Knowledgeable waitress. Efficient bus staff who always had our water glasses full. We ordered and shared a few appetizers. The mussels were to die for! A taste of the ocean with a background sauce that enhanced the flavor. We used our bread to sop up that fabulous sauce! The Beef Carpaccio appetizer was also fabulous. Very thinly sliced and complemented with thinly sliced parmesan cheese and arugula and very thin crispy wafers to pile all that goodness onto! Our third appetizer was a fried combination of shrimp, fish, and vegetables. Very good! I give Del Porto 5 stars. We had a great experience and loved the food. We will be back! Thank you.
Been wanting to try this place for a while and finally got to. The (small Antipasto appetizer is a meal in itself even for two, I imagine the large could feed four. I really like the mushroom soup....perfectly seasoned. My wife and I had daily specials, hers was a chicken pizza and mine was a grouper(? dish with a vegetable medley both very good. The wait staff is very nice. We'll be back.
Dining at Del Porto isn't just dinner, it's an event. The James Beard recognized husband wife team create an atmosphere that's warm, friendly and sophisticated, inviting you to sit and talk awhile. Everything on the menu from the simple charcuterie board to the inspired finished plates made from locally grown ingredients is scrumptious. Let's not forget the drinks! Stop by for a glass of wine after 5 and you might be invited to try a new fresh fruit cocktail they invented, just because the farmer's market had a bumper crop of citrus in season. Take them up on it. To top it off, the Solazzos care about the community they cook for, contributing food to area nonprofits' fundraising events and participating in downtown arts festivals, thus drawing visitors to the area. In short...can't recommend them enough.
First, the place is very nice. Upscale, but not snobbish. I dined there for lunch and was made to feel very welcomed. I met the owners and they are very nice people. The food was delicious! We had the white bean purée for a starter, the pizza that was the lunch special, and the vegetable panini. Then, coffee and a blueberry and peach crostada that was to die for! Oh and did I mention the dynamic service? Our server was the best! A must visit for lunch! I will go back for dinner soon!
An amazing dining experience! The detail in the flavor of the dishes intrigues the tastebuds and the cocktail menu leaves you wanting to try one of everything! Can’t wait to come back: #LoveDelPorto
