My god, this place is the best Chinese takeaway ever! I live in France and have had many Chinese takeaways in the UK and abroad and without a shadow of a doubt this place is amazing! So fresh, the quality of the food is exceptional, just have a peek in the kitchen, you can see the freshness of everything they are preparing.

After reading the reviews, I was excited to try out this restaurant for a takeout meal. Unfortunately, our experience was disappointing. We shared the box meal starter for two, and while the spring rolls were good, the ribs were dry and the wontons went uneaten. The sauce lacked flavor. The Chicken Chow Mein had bland broiled chicken and tasteless noodles. The Special Chow Mein had slimy pork, flavorless chicken, minimal prawns, and bland gravy. The lack of seasoning made the mains inedible and ended up in the trash. The only saving grace was the good chips. At £29.80, the meal was overpriced for the poor quality. The portion sizes were large but didn't make up for the lack of cohesion in the dishes. Overall, it was a disappointing and expensive experience that I wouldn't want to repeat due to the many issues we encountered.

We decided to get takeout since we were staying close by. They do not offer delivery, so we had to wait 30 minutes, which was fine. The food was mediocre at best. The spring roll was extremely greasy. The chicken and beef in the sauces seemed to be from frozen or canned. The rice was decent, but the noodles were not great. The best part was the prawn crackers.

This is the best Chinese takeout I have ever had! The food is expertly prepared with an abundance of fresh vegetables, including crisp spring onions and red peppers. The taste and quality are outstanding. The staff are friendly, professional, and clearly passionate about their work. I live in France and I am already looking forward to returning to Corbridge for another meal from Amber. Thank you for making my holiday special!

Gelatinous noodles bland chicken and it looked weird , hard to describe the taste but just awful …my son loves his food and pretty much eats anything but he left the lot .. never again
