La Rockita - Corvallis

I’m giving this place a five-star rating in my newly updated Pandemic Survival Guide, and here’s why. I usually visit the downtown location, but I accidentally ordered from 9th and Circle – and I’m so glad I did! The staff was exceptionally clean, safe, and welcoming, which really makes a difference for me. We ordered a Veggie burrito and a Super Grand Carne Asada burrito with all the toppings, and both were enormous. They were almost too big to finish – but they were too delicious not to! I requested both red and green sauces, plus two bags of chips so I wouldn’t have to share.

I had some of the best fish and shrimp tacos I've ever tasted. The staff is consistently friendly, making for a great experience!

This is genuinely the best Mexican food in the valley, if not the entire state of Oregon. If you're new to the area or just passing through, I cannot emphasize enough how important it is to stop by and try any of their freshly made, delicious dishes. Just a heads up, stay away from the lengua—it can be tough to get my fix some days! It's first come, first served, so don't hesitate! I don't know why you're still reading this—meet me there for some tacos!

I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere is fantastic, and the food is both delicious and affordable. It’s the perfect place for a quick lunch. They offer a variety of options, including burritos, tacos, and salads, and the staff is friendly with excellent customer service. During my last visit, I ordered steak tacos, and they were absolutely delicious!

Super nachos: no lettuce, add pico. Some might argue that these nachos lack ample chips, but I see it as an opportunity. It allows you to bring your favorite chips to the table, and then you and your partner or friend can enjoy a friendly debate over who gets to eat the authentic nacho chips. Just remember, you definitely shouldn't tackle this on your own!
