Bluewater Boathouse Seafood Grill

It is a beautiful place to stop for a bite, sunshine or a cloudy day. Crab Dip was hot, but could not taste too much of the crab. Steak and Maui Maui were delicious. The staff was very attentive and polite. Nice job. Parking was easy to navigate. We would definitely return and bring family and friends!!!!!!

Bluewater Boathouse Seafood and Grill has amazing food. The Clam Chowder was the best I ever tasted. But honestly, the whole food was great. The seafood was very fresh. I'd say it's at the higher end price. The staff was very friendly. Her food came hot and fresh, but it took some time. I highly recommend you in the area. With Covid you have to wear a mask when you eat here.

Dinner was 10/10. Service was 6/10. The hostesses were super friendly helpful if we wanted to switch to an indoor table instead of being outside. It was cool, they have heaters overhead, but it didn't seem much to do with the wind in the night. We sat alone for 15 minutes with only water. Finally we ordered drinks apps, our apps came another 15 min before we even get our cocktails (2 martinis a margarita- quite basic). They seemed to be understated, our waitress seemed new/ was usually nowhere to find. On the plus side the whole food was really delicious. The bathroom, the oysters, the mussels, the GIANT lobster tail, the salmon.... YUM! But for their high prices, fantasy atmosphere, delicious food, great reputation, the service should be much higher quality.

So I had dreams about the shells and sourdough bread it was so good! We went back the next night so I could get more Clam Chowder and Sauerteigbrot! In the first night I had the scallops that were perfectly cooked. In the second night the mussels with chorizo. The burgers are huge and the staff is fantastic. Nick was our server both nights. He gave great wine suggestions and made our visit spectacular. This is a must visit place while in Coronado.

A must-see lunch spot on the island. It’s busy, but they handle the crowd well. We had the clam chowder (of course) and the fish and chips. Both were delicious and more than enough food to share. The service was on point and the prices were fair. I’m probably going to get a key lime pie. Yeah. I think I will.
