Chinese Wok - Cornwall,Isles of Scilly

I really struggled to find the “plant based” addition to this restaurant due to the misleading/poor description of this takeaway. Once I found it, I was turned away because I didn’t have cash. I offered to pay by ordering online or by bank transfer, but apparently, they weren’t able to do either. Either way, this restaurant seems tacky, misrepresenting and kinda shady... I wouldn’t order based on this review and previous reviews. I honestly feel like I dodged a bullet...

Had a late night takeaway from Chinese Wok over the weekend. Food was top notch. Really liked all of it.

The food was delicious and served hot. Although the delivery was a bit slow, we would still happily return for another meal.

If I could give this no stars I would absolutely the most disgusting Chinese food we have ever tasted/had. Couldn't eat it completely inedible! The salt and pepper chicken was empty like stale pork scratchings and burnt black all over it, chips hollow no potato bbq sauce NO NO NO more like gross gravy! Chicken balls very greasy on inside and burnt and black on outside! The whole meal was cold stale and made me feel very sick. AVOID AWFUL!! Kungs and golden wok are the best in St Austell and Par do not go here!

Awful experience, order placed. Daughter injected as she has diabetes, we called for updates but very little help. Delivered 1 hour late and the delivery driver suggested we should collect it ourselves and eat the food in our house when we spoke to her about our daughters diabetes. We then started on the food, it was barely warm missing part of the order and not worth it. Do not order from this company poor food and poor service.
