Lovely lunch for our 10th anniversary. Friendly staff and good food, Staff explained food would be served in a box due to the recent fire which was fine and a bit quirky!

Recovering from a dreadful winter fire, but this place has THE spot overlooking Charlestown harbour. We enjoyed 1/2 pint shell on prawns and cider for lunch. Dog happy with water biscuits on tap Perfect in the sunshine.

Despite their recent fire they are open and serving great food and refreshing drinks with a superb view. Limited menu but all freshly cooked. Staff very friendly and they make dogs welcome with bowls for water and small treats.

Nice hotel, I would stay 100% here again. the customer service was excellent! the personal was so nice. we fought to get taxis, but the staff at the reception offered to call us for us and get us at both days taxis that were so beautiful! the staff was smart and friendly. the breakfast was really good with many options. the room was very spacious and the en-suit was nice, the room was complete with bath and super fluffy, large towels. the cleanest hotel I've ever been. the bar was rudering, but friendly. as londoner is a bar in the regular not nice, but that was in order, local were friendly and it was a welcoming environment.

Absolutely fantastic. all employees were brilliant to always smile on their faces and ready for a chat to advise where or what to do. our room (9) was huge large double bed comfortable, massive bathroom with a dressing area. the breakfast was tasty and plentiful and said that all the food and drinks were excellent. they have a bar next door, which is a bit like a sportable, shows rugby, football etc. and live music at certain nights. my only negative note is that the upper spaces may be a small challenge for people with mobility problems, but not to say that they are inaccessible.
