Moustache Joe's - Cornwall

I've eaten here a few times. I have to say that my menu has not strayed from the pasta. I love their pasta meals. Very tasty.

Everything seems to be homemade for the most part, lunch is very informal and dinner is quite formal, love this place

After reading the previous review, I had to add my two cents worth.My husband and I use to frequent Joe's often when he first started up the restaurant. After a few years, Joe then sold out and that was the beginning of the end. About a year ago, Joe returned but I suspect not as the original owner but just as the Chef. I also suspect it is still the new owner. At the onset when Joe was the owner, one could get a delicious roast beef dinner (a decent piece of meat) with salad and rolls included served on a nicely set table covered with a linen tablecloth. When the new owner arrived, gone was the delicious food, smaller portions served not even on a place mat but simply on an uncovered table that came with much higher prices.A few months ago, we tried Joe's again but were totally disappointed. My husband had the Joe's Special Meal which was almost $28.00 a plate and was described by my husband as very average, definitely not worth the money and a very chintzy serving of meat and veggies. I had the roast beef which, if I remember correctly was almost the same price. The roast beef used to be delicious but it is no longer and I would now rate it as just average. The meal was served with no soup or salad included, one or two tiny potatoes and a teensy mound of mixed frozen veggies. Any type of dinner rolls added to these meals was unheard of. I had dessert which was some kind of chocolate cake which was also definitely overpriced as well and just average, bordering on the below part.These meals were not up to par as was the original Moustache Joe's. The fantastic original Moustache's Joe's is gone and no more. Now I would classify it as simply an average bistro type restaurant.To summarize, the previous reviewer had it right - this place is now overpriced AND a total ripoff. We will NOT be returning!

Service was good, place is clean and staff is friendly. However. our food was lukewarm when it arrived at the table. Portions we're sparse ( a small piece of chicken, a few roasted potatoes and some green beans). No salad or soup included.The chicken Marsala tasted OK, not great, just OK. At $~21 per plate, this restaurant is overpriced. We will NOT be returning.

I had dinner at this restaurant and it was amazing. The drinks, service, and food were all fantastic. The staff really made us feel welcome. The food was some of the best I've had recently. The prices were very reasonable as well.
