Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen - Cordova

Waiting time is not worth what they got in the building. 28 minutes in line, from arrival to departure. Ok... we have the 10pc mixed reason for this review... the new Flounder sandwich. As you can see, it doesn't look like the ad-pic, but we don't expect it.

This has got to be the worst joint in America. And probably the worst in Memphis. Their folks working there are super irresponsible and slow, you can expect at least 30 mts in drive through if you are unlucky. And I am not sure if it is my luck I order spicy and they always do plain chicken to me. My fries are always cold. And if you go inside you can see a lot on unhygienic activities on display like trash overflowing, floors dirty. I wonder what is Memphis food services looking when they give them score of 98 or so. They are a disaster waiting to happen. And I acn tell you the manager at this place is very rude and unprofessional when you complain of order issues or lazy attitude.

Showed up to pickup a doordash. Instructions stated to pick up inside. Drive thru wrapped around building. Which are things I've come to expect delivering for this Popeyes in particular, but today's experience is why I'm leaving a rating. I try to enter the building as pickup instructions stated, there are customers and dashers waiting inside. The double doors were locked so i walked around the building and almost got clipped by a car in the drive thru. That door was also locked. Knocked on the door and the was visably laughed at. I had a large order with a half gallon of lemonade. I saw a huge bag with a half gallon of lemonade on the pickup shelf but have no way to retrieve it. Figured since I'm literally here to pickup and leave that I could call the store and maybe someone hand me the order from the door. First call rung a few times, was picked up and immediately hung back up. Called a few more times and was hung up on at the first ring every time. I was calling from the Dasher app so it would have shown on Popeyes caller ID as Doordash (they hide dasher numbers for privacy and safety). So these employees saw doordash calling and totally ignored it. Im used to dashers getting the crao end of the stick from resturants, but after being looked at laughed at i felt the need to say these employees are extremely unprofessional and rude, even for Popeyes. Also feel the need to add that during this entire ordeal (which took about 10 minutes) the drive thru line had literally not moved an inch. These employees are lazy and slow and as someone who had managed several establishments now, I'd fire the whole crew and start over. Never had these issues with other locations in Memphis.

I just want to say how much I appreciate these Popeyes and employees. Food was amazing. Drive-Through line was a little long so I went into all, worked out her butt to get the food as soon as possible. Every employee who reads this keeps the hard work
