Abner's Famous Chicken - Cordova

I used to go there often but had several bad experiences. Thought I'd give it another try. I paid $29 for what turned out to be 12 dried up wings with hardly any meat on them. Really disappointing.

I ordered a couple of wing orders plus fries for each along with a gallon of unsweet tea, they put both in one box , they forgot a fry, only put 1 dipping sauce, and forgot the toast they also gave me sweet tea (I’m a diabetic). They were nice but I shouldn’t have to keep going back to rectify they’re errors. The wing seasoning was flat but they were juicy, nevertheless never going back.

Waited 30 minutes for food. Paid $30 for two meals (no drinks). And none of the food was right. Manager has an attitude and refused to talk to customers because she was busy. Since they wouldn’t correct my food, I disputed the charge on my CC. Ordered: grilled chicken tenders, wings, and curly fries. Quesadilla with curly fries Received: fried chicken tenders, wrong sauce on wings, regular fries. Cheese only quesadilla with regular fries, and no sauce.

I stopped here for the first time today. I got the Garden Salad with added chicken. The salad was decent. I’ve had better. But the chicken tenders were hot and fresh! I got a sweet tea as well and it was superb I gave it 4 stars because I feel like the salad should have been chopped instead of having big pieces of veggies in it. Customer service was friendly. And service was quick.

I use to come here all the time, now they are kind of expensive for what you get. Also, to offer a cheap side (slaw) not everyone likes or eats with tenders is bogus. Changing a $1 extra for a normal tender side .(fries) .
