San Francisco - Córdoba

Decorated in typical Cordoban fashion, what struck us upon entering is how authentic the place is. Greeted by some of the regulars by the bar, we sat down in the beautifully decorated courtyard. We ordered some classical salmorejo, fried aubergines in honey and classical tortilla de patatas, all which were reasonably priced. Perfect if you are looking for a place which serves good traditional food.

Food is nice but nothing extraordinary. Get ready for a long wait, the restaurant was not crowded but still food arrive after 30 minutes wait. We complained twice but waiter did not paid much attention Size and prices are OK and you can order food to share but remember to take it easy

We were all tired from a big week and Cordoba was the last stop. Needed a meal that was not expensive, close to hotel, teenager friendly and if somewhat authentic would be a bonus. We were recommended this restaurant by Paula at Hotel Maestre just across the street . Main reason to choose was that they accepted Credit Card ...the nearest bank ATM did not want to dispense cash! . What a bonus to step into Taberna Plateros! Many attributes – the menu had Spanish and English, even after a week in Andalucia still struggling with language We arrived early before it got busy , so that waiters had a bit more time to take orders. Service was prompt and attentive even as it got busy we were given good attention The menu is not vast and all items we ate were delicious. The price seemed reasonable see pic of our receipt Even our very tired teenager was satisfied and happy! This place started to develop a strong local vibe as the later crowd started to swell the tables and stretch the wait staff. It was fun to see the intensity increase and the waiters increase their pace to cope. It all seemed to be very ‘real’ local atmosphere, with lots of happy conversation. Llegamos a Córdoba e inmediatamente fuimos a este restaurante que habíamos hecho una reserva por recomendación. la comida era impresionante y la cerveza era espectacularmente fría. cortamos algunas tapas al centro para compartir torque, salmorjo, berenjenas con mie, choricítos del Demonios, flirquins, queso curado en aceite. Pedimos todo de cinta a compartir y todo espectacular. muy buena relación calidad precio. con tres frascos de cerveza y dos botellas de vino blanco salimos a €24 por cabeza.

Típica taberna de Córdoba, de toda la vida. puede tomar algo rápido en un bar o más relajado en una mesa. Menú de comida tradicional y de buen precio, raciones y medias raciones. ideal para comer barato en el río, siempre está lleno aunque cubre la cola. berenjenas con miel y atención muy ricas en casa.
