We had a wonderful dinner last night with three of us at the table. We were seated at the best spot in the restaurant, right in front of the fireplace, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere. My daughter and I ordered the filet, which was incredibly tender and delicious, paired perfectly with the demi-glace. My husband had the trout, and he really enjoyed the way it was prepared. The desserts were unique and far from the typical options you find elsewhere. They have a talented female pastry chef, and the desserts were simply outstanding. Our server was attentive and friendly, adding to the great experience. It had been a few years since our last visit, but we definitely plan to return soon. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I highly recommend it.

Inside, the restaurant features several candlelit spaces. When making a reservation, they carefully place you in the appropriate room—intimate spaces for small gatherings or larger areas with high ceilings for groups. While waiting for our party, we were taken to a delightful terrace with a fireplace for drinks. Instead of a traditional bar, each table is assigned a server for the evening, ensuring consistent and attentive service. Our waitress was wonderful, bringing a lively personality and extensive knowledge of the menu. For dinner, I started with a delicious pear salad made from ingredients sourced from their own property. I took a chance and ordered the elk cooked medium-rare. I enjoyed it and would recommend it to anyone interested in trying elk, though I might not order it again. My favorite part of the meal was the potato casserole, which was a delightful surprise. I also sampled the Dover sole ordered by a neighbor, which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, I had a type of chocolate cheesecake but felt a twinge of envy towards those who ordered the chocolate bread pudding. It was incredibly decadent and had the perfect bread pudding consistency. Overall, if I were to rate the food alone, it might not top my list, but the exceptional service and atmosphere more than made up for it. I definitely want to return!
