Sushi Town - Coquitlam

Best Sushi for the prices! They have some great rolls and combos that I always try to get when I'm in Coquitlam. I really like the deep fried california roll and spicy salmon combo. Dinner for Two is also very filling and tasty if you're there with a friend.

Very generous portions at super reasonable prices! They have tons of delicious and fresh rolls and sashimi. Service is pretty good too considering how busy they constantly are. I don't understand some of the negative reviews here because people shouldn't expect perfect service from such an efficient, budget restaurant like this. This is by far the best place for sushi in Coquitlam if you want to save some money and have a good meal.

Despite the slow service, this used to be my favorite spot until last week when I witnessed a new sushi chef eating while making sushi for customers! I was impressed because there was a female sushi chef on the line (this is not customary, normally it is all men). I thought good for her and so of course I was watching from our table.I could not believe what happened next. I was HORRIFIED when she STUFFED her GOB full of fish & rice and continued making sushi for customers WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS! She was eating over other peoples food which she was preparing with her hands! Her mouth was so full she looked like an ANIMAL foraging for the winter. Her mouth was so full that she could hardly chew and she could not talk to the waiter when he approached her to ask a question.Then, she repeated this action 3 MORE TIMES in the 45 minutes we were there! DISGUSTING!!! STUFFING HER MOUTH SO FULL SHE COULD NOT CHEW or TALK and EATING WHILE ROLLING SUSHI for customers - BOOOOO!SUSHI TOWN MAKES ME FROWN :(Check out her chipmunk cheeks bulging with food below!

I go here fairly often, and it's a good restaurant. If you are a sushi lover, I recommend skipping the generic rolls and ordering their special rolls, such as the Spicy Yambit Roll. They're more exciting, and the regular rolls are, well, regular. Service is always quite good. Not super special in any way, but a nice enough place for sushi.

They want your money but don't care about who is giving it to them or how they treat clients. I just went out for Fathers day and had left due to poor service, ice cold teriyaki, liquid dripping from the sushi rolls. When I left I told the client I had been coming to this location since it opened and as I am a local of Coquitlam for 26 years. Was shunned off and told "OK" . took the guys name, his name is Jason, tall Asian fellow working as a server. Amazingly rude for any individual to act in this manner. Learn some respect for your clients! Don't ruin family gatherings by hiring employees with a chip on their shoulder.
