Donair Town - Coquitlam

Today, I ordered the falafel plate from Donair Town via DoorDash. Regrettably, the experience was less than satisfactory. As seen in the attached picture, the food arrived with subpar packaging, resulting in everything being mashed together.Furthermore, the falafel, typically a standout on their menu, fell short of expectations. The flavors lacked the anticipated vibrancy, contributing to an underwhelming dining experience. Given these issues, I’ve decided not to order from Donair Town again. I hope they consider refining both their packaging and the flavor profile of their dishes in the future.

I don't understand why there are so many negative reviews. I really enjoy this restaurant! I ordered a lamb super donair and it was incredibly tasty and definitely worth the price. I recently moved to this area and I can see myself indulging in donairs here often as a treat!

People are nice. But so what, the food is not authentic. You do not use asian rice, that is unacceptable. And another thing that is completely unacceptable, heating pita in plastic bags in the microwave. For christ sake, you're an adult, not a child. How do you not know this? Spending this much time on planet earth and this is what you do..... and anyone calling out people for negative comments are very dim. So dim that they actually like the food and are obviously as clueless as the owners. Just dumb people.

This was by far the worst donair I have ever had. Bland plain white rice, topped by small thin shreds of lamb and very little sauce. The pita bread was paper thin with a couple of spoonfuls of hummus. Even their rendition of a Greek salad was laughable. A few pieces of orange bell pepper and a few pieces of cucumber. No feta, olives, tomato or anything like that. I can’t find one good thing to say about this meal. The lady seemed nice though…

The restaurant uses microwaved pita bread and it seems like everything, including the meat, is watered down. I don't understand how they can mess up donair or rice plates. This is not a good spot to get donair, it's a waste of money. I do not recommend going here, and I will never return.
